The independent mammography workstation

JiveX Diagnostic Workstation Mammo is the independent diagnostic software for mammography. It supports all storage phosphor systems (CR) and direct radiography systems (DR) for digital mammography as well as ultrasound and MRI. With this workstation you control the entire process – whether in curative mammography or in screening.

In addition to the typical features of a diagnostic workstation during routine daily use, it has many special features for digital mammography:

• Optimized image management for rapid access to image data (< 1 second)
• Special hanging protocols to automate routine operations for rapid and efficient diagnosis
• Rapid navigation and synchronous processing (zoom, gray scale value windowing, etc.)
• Sector sampling with 1:1 representation
• Optimized automated W/C presetting of image data irrespective of the equipment manufacturer
• Full DICOM support for all approved mammography systems
• Worklist interfaces for RIS/KIS or for special mammography screening software within the teleradiology network
• Interfaces to computer-aided detection (CAD) systems

Using the Offline Storage Service, you can easily and securely compile an archive of CDs or DVDs (Single Media Archive). Additionally, you can use this module at any time to create a patient CD/DVD and the appropriate viewer. In this way the workstation readily becomes a mini-PACS solution and, therefore, is also attractive to smaller radiology practices.

With the DICOM Worklist Broker it is possible to seamlessly integrate all commonly available practice computer systems, RIS or KIS, into the image management process.

Using JiveX, both a second opinion can be obtained via teleradiology

and a diagnosis can be performed for the staff on standby duty. In this way you save time and money. Thanks to the multiple image compression levels and the optimized image transmission processes, you can work quickly and in a focused manner.

With the JiveX Diagnostic Workstation, an independent DICOM network linking several locations can be established, which can be integrated without difficulty, into an existing network.

The services DICOM Query/Retrieve, DICOM Print and DICOM Storage belong as a SCU without limitation to the system package. In addition, a DICOM Modality Gateway, (DICOM Storage SCP) or, as an option, an Analog Modality Gateway, is included as standard package. Additional gateways can be retroactively licensed at any time. The precise delivery scope and system performance specifications are based on the offer made, respectively on our price list.
