The Web-based 3rd Generation PACS

jPACS is the integrative and interdepartmental PACS solution from the JiveX product family. The integration capability and the open system architecture facilitate the implementation of a hospital-wide and interdepartmental solution. The solution encompasses the image acquisition and archiving with digital diagnosis, and the radiological review including distribution of images and diagnoses. Through the systematic utilization of Web technologies, jPACS is a modern, 3rd generation PACS offering, and optimally supports you during the entire digital diagnostic process.

jPACS is known for its particularly high speed and, through its flexible interfaces, can be integrated, in an outstanding way, in an existing system infrastructure. The modular structure and modern, distributed system architecture enable free scaling and configuration according to individual requirements.

Thanks to its complete DICOM compatibility, the system can be used with the diagnostic radiological equipment of the major manufacturers (Siemens, GE, Philips etc.), and runs on various operating system platforms such as Windows, MacOS X or Linux. JiveX supports standard hardware and simplifies system support with the Single-Point-of-Administration concept.

Using the integrated image and diagnosis distribution function, complete image series, or also only the images of diagnostic relevance (key images), together with the related diagnoses, can be displayed on each network-linked work station. Via WLAN, access can be established even with terminal server clients or thin client systems.

Due to the redundant data storage, both the operative availability as well as the secure, long-term archiving are fully supported. In addition, modern image compression processes ensure rapid online access, even to older, previous examinations.

The archiving strategy is individually customized to suit customer requirements. From pure offline archiving, to external telearchiving, or archiving using a hospitalwide, Hierarchical Storage Management System (HSM) or a Storage Area Network (SAN), everything is possible.

With the DICOM Worklist Broker and the JiveX Analog Modality Gateway, the relevant patient data can be transmitted to almost any image source within the hospital and integrated within the image network. Even older computer tomographs or digital cameras can be connected easily and in a cost-effective way.

The entry level solution for digital image management. Essential functions can at any time be expanded and adapted to suit your requirements. The rapid access, online-archive and the integrated RIS/PACS workstation are standard equipment.

jPACS Professional

This solution package fulfills the essential requirements of digital archiving including integrated image/ diagnosis distribution. The DICOM Worklist Broker guarantees you utmost data quality and integrates even older computer tomographs into your DICOM network.

jPACS Premium

This PACS offering fulfills even the most demanding requirements. Additionally, it guarantees permanent high availability through the TWIN Server, and a seamless integration of data in accordance with the provisions of the IHE-Initiative (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise).
