This is the universal solution for managing the archiving and communication of medical images with integrated workflow control. It is based on the DICOM standard and runs as platform independent Java application extremely reliable and fast for different needs.

DICOM Communication Server

The Communication Server provides several basic DICOM services. This are for example the most important services for image communication:

• DICOM Storage (SCU + SCP)
• DICOM Query/Retrieve (SCU + SCP)
• DICOM Basic Print (SCU)

DICOM Worklist Broker

This additional module helps you integrating different information systems which are not able to provide a DICOM Worklist to your DICOM network. Thus JiveX maps different exchange formats (ASCII, XML etc.) to the DICOM Worklist Protocol (SCP).

Additionally the JiveX DICOM Worklist Broker is able to merge a DICOM Worklist (as SCU) from a Radiology Information System (RIS) with incoming image data from a NON Worklist compliant modality. The merged and consistent image data can be routed automatically and rule-based via DICOM Storage to other DICOM systems in the network.

DICOM Print Server

This module allows to print directly from a modality or imaging workstation via DICOM Print to a networked paper printer. The systems supports individual calibration for each connected DICOM note and paper printer (GSDF/LUT).

Note: At this time the DICOM PaperPrint Server is available for Microsoft Windows only. It runs as system service on Windows 2000, XP and 2003 (Server).
